Services

You wouldn’t hire a dentist to fix your car, right?  So don’t hire a roofer, siding or window guy to insulate your home!  At The Handy Man Insulation Co., insulation is all we do, all year round (and we’re darn good at it too!).  Below, you will find a list of services we offer.  Notice that we use an array of different types of insulation and aren’t stuck on using just one type like other insulators.  We believe that every type of insulation has its own pro’s and con’s that we can educate you on then, ultimately, we let you decide what’s best for you.  How about that?

-Insulation removal.  (Existing homes).  For insulation to work properly, it can’t have air flow running through it.  The best way to completely air seal your attic is to remove the existing insulation first.  We are equipped with specialized gas-powered vacuums made specifically for this purpose.  Also, we work with all insurance companies to remove water damaged insulation, smoke and fire damaged insulation, and insulation disturbed or damaged by rodents and pests.

-Blown-in fiberglass or cellulose insulation in your attic.  (Existing homes, new homes and additions)

-Blown-in fiberglass or cellulose insulation in your walls.  (Existing homes, new homes and additions)

-Staple-on Kraft faced fiberglass batt insulation.  (Existing homes, new homes and additions)

-Open and closed cell spray foam in your attic (Existing homes, new homes and additions), crawl space and basement walls (Existing homes, new homes and additions),  exterior walls (New construction and additions).

-Sound proofing (Existing homes, new homes and additions)

-In-home energy consultations with thermal imaging (Actually see if and where you are losing energy). You will receive a full color report!

-Air duct sealing and insulation.  Did you know a one square inch gap in your duct work is the equivalent of a 20 square inch hole in the side of your home!?  Also, improperly sealed duct work allows contaminants to enter your heating and cooling system like dust, dirt and pollen to name a few.  Those contaminants are then circulated throughout your home and straight into your lungs.

We are always adding to our list of insulation services so check back often to see if we can help you.
